Yesterday was a busy day. Auntie Amy had one of her wedding showers in town and then the Crouches all gathered for a great bar-b-que dinner. Amongst all of that, Auntie Amy was able to sneak in a visit to the girls and they put on quite a show for her by smiling and laughing, not to mention spitting up on their papa in front of her. They are not currently used to visitors, per medical recommendation, but mama and papa made an exception since she does not live nearby.
They are doing well and feeding like champs. They spit up only seldom and Cora has climbed up to 14 cc's of breast milk, a big jump from her feeding yesterday of 10 cc's. Hazel is hanging steady at her current maximum of 15 cc's with no intravenous nutrition at all to accompany it. Hazel continues to fight with her nurses and mother on where best to wear her nasal and feeding tubes (she prefers outside of her body) and will grin every time she pulls them out. Both continue to astound with her poo's and Hazel is continuously being weened from the nasal cannula, little by little.
