Cora can wear clothes now! She has reached the recommended weight before clothes are allowed. We will be bringing her lots of little outfits to the hospital tomorrow. She now weighs 3 lbs. 12 oz. Cora had a very peaceful day. Peace and quiet is exactly what she needed after her exhausting week. The only change is her milk is now the same combination as Hazel's, one part milk to one part special care formula. She is tolerating it well, expect for one very large spit up. It got on everything, including her mama. It also gave her mama a chance to give Cora a bath for the first time. It was a special moment. All we are waiting on now is a big poop. Then everything will be back to normal.
Hazel also had a peaceful day. She spent it sleeping or trying to wiggle out of her bed. Her nurse, Janette, said Hazel reminded her of a little monkey. She is so long and looked like she was trying to climb a tree all day. No changes were made with Hazel today. She saved her big poop for her parents again. It took both of them, countless wipes, and three dirty diapers before she decided she was done. Hazel now tops the scales at 3 lbs. 2.5 oz.
Yahoo!!!!!Good for you Cora!!!! Now you can wear your pretty outfits. That's alright about the big accident. It gives mama practice giving you a bath. Good luck on wearing your pretty outfits. Hazel girl, save some of that energy for gaining weight and growing. You can climb trees when you get a little bigger. Your uncle Joel will teach you how.It snowed a little bit last night. It was nothing but a dusting, alot less than they had predicted. Your cousin Bailey spent the night with grandmaw & pawpaw. She did really well, as it has been a while since she has done so. Bailey & Rylie kiss your pictures on the refrigerator everyday. As a matter of fact they take them off the refrigerator and carry them around and kiss on them. Grandmaw wishes both her girls a Happy Valentine's Day. I wish you were bigger so we could get pretty little red dresses for you both. Just wait till next year. We will make up for it. Be good girls, and rest.
