The girls continue to grow. Cora weighs 3 lbs. 2 oz. Hazel weighs 2 lbs. 8 oz. Their weight is really taking off. We will hopefully start bottle feeding next week with Cora. It may take a little longer with Hazel, but not too much longer. Both girls will receive kangaroo care (laying the baby on your bare chest) every day. Today both girls had two kangaroo sessions. They cry every time they are moved back to their beds. It is so pitiful. Hazel has not flipped out of bed in at least 24 hours. She continues to struggle with bradys. The bradys are from the reflux and seem to be getting further and further apart. It is something she will have to outgrow. Cora has started to pout and whimper. She is becoming more vocal and stronger everyday.
Now that's what I'm talking about! Way to go girls. Keep puting on that weight. Hazel was just trying to find mamma. Yeah! Kangaroo Care.
