We thought last night's bath was a treat, we were in for a big surprise! Yesterday was a sponge bath. Tonight was a bath complete with a tub. Nurse Katie was there to help us. Visitors were also cleared for tonight. Granny, Auntie Amy, Granddaddy and Great Grandmother were also there for the big event. Cora did not enjoy the bath as much as her parents. She was not sure what to do with the water. It was a new sensation. Her favorite part seemed to be getting her hair washed and her head massaged. After her bath, she put on a cute little outfit, and settled in for a nap in her Granddaddy's arms for the first time.
Hazel slept through Cora's bath. In fact, she spent most of the day sleeping. She is not quite big enough for a bath yet. Maybe in the next week or two. She now weighs 3 lbs. 4 oz. She will be able to wear clothes soon. Auntie Amy was able to hold Hazel for the first time. Both enjoyed their sleepy time. Hazel keeps growing and getting stronger everyday.
